Loving Earth’s recipe for Golden Turmeric Mylk is not only delicious but it’s right up our alley of using food as medicine. This is a fantastic warm drink because all of the spices have anti-inflammatory, cardio-protective, blood sugar balancing and digestive enhancer properties. This is a great drink for people with arthritis, digestive upset or high cholesterol.

Golden Turmeric Mylk Ingredients
2 cups almond milk
1/2 – 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 teaspoons ginger root, peeled and finely grated
1/2 teaspoon cardamom
A few grinds black pepper
1 teaspoon coconut sugar
1 teaspoon coconut oil
Cinnamon to serve

Add all ingredients to a small pot and whisk while the milk heats up to your preferred temperature
Pour the milk through a sieve into two cups and top with a sprinkle of cinnamon.

1 Banana, mashed
1 Cup Almond Meal or Oats

Preheat oven to 180C
Mix ingredients together
Spoon onto a baking tray lined with baking paper and press lightly with a fork to flatten
Cook for 20mins or until golden brown. You may need to flip them over during the bake so both sides cook evenly.
